INGREDIENTS1 lb asparagus (about 15 stalks peeled) 5 oz Swiss or favorite cheese (cut in long slices) 1 tbsp butter salt and pepper to taste 7 tbsp tomato sauce
DIRECTIONS 1. Set oven to 350f and butter or spray a medium size casserole dish with cooking spray. 2. Bring a medium sauce pan with 2 cups of water to boil. cook the asparagus until tender about 6 to 9 minutes. 3. Remove and separate the spears into smaller bundles of 3 spears each. 4. Wrap each bundle with a slice of cheese and place in casserole dish. Season with salt and pepper. Pour tomato sauce over the top. 5. Bake until cheese is barely melted about 7 minutes and serve.
