Baked Fruit Dessert Recipe

Baked fruit dessert recipe is one of the best things you can do for your family. It is no secret that fruit is a must for maintaining a healthy diet, and when you make that fruit into something as appetizing as this apple casserole, your family will be in your debt.

In ages gone by, apples were not just used for food; they were also thought to have some kind of magical power. They were thought to have the power to cure disease, ensure fertility and provide immortality. I guess that is where the phrase “an apple a day will keep the doctor away” came from. They still hold a bit of power over disease today by providing nutrition and fiber to the diet, and it sure doesn’t hurt to hold onto them for a measure of disease control.

This baked apple dessert recipe is more of a streusel crisp than anything else. When you sprinkle the topping over the fruit prior to baking, it will become a crunchy layer of goodness right on the top of this delicious dessert. Just like any other warm apple casserole, top it with vanilla ice cream and let the taste buds have a feast.
