Hot Dog Casserole

Hot dog casserole recipe so you had to know this one was coming. No recipe section for kids would be complete unless it included weniers or franks, right? Of course, that is right because kids just naturally enjoy these favorite foods. Besides, parents just like having something easy to prepare that they just know their kids will enjoy.

One thing that is undeniable about this casserole is that when you serve this dish along with baked beans you will have a family favorite that is not just made with the kids in mind.

There are many reasons that people like this recipe, not the least of which is that most of us just love hot dogs. Some use them because their kids will eat them without complaining, and others use them because they are a great way to stretch a budget while supplying protein for their growing family. When you buy the all-beef variety without all the preservatives like nitrates and nitrites, you are actually doing something very healthy for your family.

Once you have this casserole out of the oven, it can be served over a bed of rice or all by itself.
